What does "viager" mean to you?

The word viager gets its origin from an old French word "viaje" which means 'time left to live'.

In the 1700's, in France, a method was developed for the elderly who had fallen on hard financial times to sell their residences and yet be able to remain in them for the rest of there natural lives without disrupting their living environment.

This process now accounts for a significant amount  of all residential sales in Europe today.

The viager method of sales is fully approved and recognized under the laws of the European Union ("EU").

The EU today is recognized as a world leader in the protection of its elderly population.

Today it is estimated that over 20% of the population is in excess of 60 years old and in 20 years this figure will exceed 25%.  With the aging population it is becoming apparent that some program has to be established whereas the elderly can remain in their present environments.

We at Viager USA LLC ("Viager USA")
have set up an organization, to afford the elderly population, the same wonderful benefits that thousands of elderly Europeans enjoy.

We feel that our organization is on the threshold of setting the standard for future sales of residences by the elderly, which will enable them to enjoy their senior years with pride and dignity by remaining in their own home environments.
